Is Minami the place in the shopping center next to Sears Auto Center in
Vallco? I've been there once, and it was quite good.

I went to Minato in Downtown San Jose last night...as good as always! While
they do sell sushi, they don't have a sushi bar...however their meals are
good, and the service is very friendly. Highly recommended. Another favorite
in S.J.'s japantown is Tsugaru, better if you are going for a sushi feast.
Never had any luck with Kazoo...

In case anyone is scratching their head thinking 'Japantown in San Jose?'
it's a small 4 block neighborhood north of downtown, between 3rd and 4th
streets, 1 block south of Taylor (take hwy 87 to Taylor south, turn right on
3rd street). There are about 6-7 Japanese restaurants in this area...along
with a cool japanese import shop and the tofu factory!
