Subject: Sushi on the Run - Los Gatos

The first place I ever had sushi in California was at
Sushi-on-the-Run in Los Gatos. It's right on N. Santa Cruz Blvd, which is
sort of the main drag of Los Gatos. It's a *TINY* little place. Like,
REALLY TINY.
It seats 7 people, all at the bar, in a place that's no more than
10 feet wide, and perhaps 20 feet deep, if that. All food prep is made
right there in front of you, and one of the neat design-things I like about
it is that they have used mirrors to make the place seem larger. And the
menus are mounted on the walls BEHIND where you're sitting, and printed
backwards, so that you see them normally when you look up.
I haven't been back there in...gawd...5 years? But I remember quite
enjoying the sushi when I was there. I need to try it again.
It's a very cool (and very cozy) dining experience. I imagine it
might be like some of the sushi places in Tokyo, if you had about 10,000
more people walking by on the street outside...
