GIS Classwork

I am currently looking for a position (part- or full-time) in the South Bay/Santa Cruz area of California as a junior-level GIS technician. My relevant interests are in ecology, vegetation, (particularly native plants), natural history and restoration. Since I am just getting started, I am considering many areas related to the environmental sciences and conservation, preferably involving GIS analysis and remote sensing data.
