My Chief Engineer and I are putting the new ship together on Sunday.
I'm waiting to talk to the Moffett Field Safety Officer about creating
a body of water to practice our water landings on. Let's see if he
came into the office yet today.
Nope. He ain't in yet.
Anyone who has signed one of our NDA's, is in the SF Bay Area and
would like to come visit is welcome. Just drop me a line. I need like
a week's notice to get badges for you. So letting me know (say) next
Monday will get you in the following Sunday.
Won't be doing water landings, of course, until we have a pool set
up. Don't know how long that will take. I suppose we could always
take the ship down to some high ceilinged building with a big swimming
pool; or even to an outdoor pool, if David is right about how fast it
will go.
I think there's some work to be done before we get to that point
though.
