The current problem with building an airship is like this:
1. You need the will, a location, and MONEY.
Having corressponded with all of you for the last two years, I am
confident that there is a will.
Seeing Josh's luck in obtaining a piece of Hanger One at Moffett Field
makes me think that getting space is rather easy to overcome.
Money, unfortunately is the problem. If we had $100,000 of disposable
income, we would probably be cruising around by now. Unfortunately,
we don't, and there-in lies the problem. I get frustrated like everyone
else.
I don't think we would have had any disagreements regarding
personnell if we had had the money to take action. Impatience has a
way of making people, including myself, irrational and mean.
I may seem the flake at times,
The explanation is quite simple. I work for a living. I have little or no
spare time. My schedule is not regular from week to week. Fortunately,
I am becoming VERY successful at what I do. I am at the threshold
of making a lot of money. Since I am not the design impetus any longer,
this is probably my best way to contribute.
I am still working on the ultralight but, as time is a factor, I can't seem
nail down an ETA. I hope before year-end. Since my costs will be relatively
low for this, I will be investing in Josh's venture as soon as I have some
spare
cash, which will be hopefully soon. I recommend that some of you do the
same.
If you can buy a part of the company, of just contribute some cash, it
would
probably be a great help. This request is unsolicited by Josh, and I am
sure
he will have something to say about it after he reads this. I still think
this is our best
chance at building a full-sized ship. I have confidence in Josh, and the
work he has
done up to this point.
