I wrote up a web page on the infrastructure of the domestead I just
bought. No pictures, yet, but check out http://www.welcomehome.org/rob/domes/
As these are "project" domes, I started on fixing the liner in the
chimney, so it can have wood heat again. After that I start on putting
in more panels, and dealing with the broken plumbing. The whole place is
currently run on about 460 Watts, which isn't enough to run my computers on,
and have any juice left. :-)
The place is wired funny. One dome is pure 120VAC off the invertor, and
the other is all 24VDC. Guess I can compare how the lighting works for
both options now, but I think 24VDC is the way to go. 24VDC bulbs are harder
to find though.
