Unless you're just baiting me for the obvious. ;^)
        Each house could easily generate its own crypto "signature"
that authenticates the devices to a specific code/owner/house. Then
even if someone walked into your space (or the other side of a nearby
wall) they wouldn't be able to hack into your systems or
communications.
