Alright, I ended up staying up until 4am, anyway! :-)
In any event, I had just completed some renderings yesterday of the
under-deck supports on the outside of the autonomous house model. I've now put
those pictures, and a bunch of new info, up on the autonomous house page. Take
a look and see if it's anything like what you were thinking of, or if it
provokes any new ideas.
