No, actually I found the cost for the machine from another website that
was selling them:
http://www.cannabisresearchinstituteinc.com/grow_supply.htm

They're being sold for growing medical cannabis on this website, which
is where I first noticed them.

This was one question that I had, but so far I haven't seen enough
information.
The only pictures I've seen of it are from the Omega Garden site, and
they don't explain that kind of thing on there that I've ever seen.

It does seem a bit inconvenient in that way.

Well, this would be relatively easy to do I think.
The unit works with basically ebb and flow hydroponic system, with the
drum rotating through the nutrient mixture at the bottom, and then
slowly draining as it rotates around (this does bring to mind the
question of dripping, and leakage through the tops of the soil when the
plant's upside down... I'm not sure about that either).
So if you could circulate the water from your aquaculture tanks through
the unit, or even if you could set the unit up to rotate THROUGH your
tanks, that may be a way to combine the two of them.
