Got a reply from the folks at Omega Garden. Looks like it's come down a bit in
the past few years (according to prices in the other thread), but it's still
pretty pricey.

Hi Patrick, Pricing is as follows for the Omega Garden: $2,995.00 USD Hot Ready Kit This kit includes everything but your bulbs and ballasts. It comes with a 4' x 6" Pyrex air-cooled glass bulb housing and all the equipment required to mount the recommended 600 watt HPS bulbs. (To see a picture of this on www.omegagarden.com, scroll to the bottom of the first page, click on "see more" and hit photos at the top.) $3,395.00 USD Complete 600 Watt HPS Kit This kit comes with everything in the Hot Ready kit plus two 600 watt bulbs and ballast. These ballast kit's have a plug connection in the wire between the lamp and ballast to facilitate easy removal of the bulbs from the air-cooled fixture. This is important for glass cleaning maintenance. Wiring of the wall plug is all that's required in this kit. $2,995.00 USD 2 Bulb Fluorescent Kit $3,395.00 USD 6 Bulb Fluorescent Kit These kits come with everything needed to mount two or six 95 watt compact fluorescent bulbs. The two bulb kit can be seen in our brochure or on the opening page of our web site. The six bulb kit uses a fixture that mounts three bulbs on either end of the garden. These bulbs are equivalent to 450 watts of HID for only 95 watts, they are self ballasted and will last approximately 10,000 hours according to the manufacturers specs. This configuration would NOT come with the Pyrex glass housing. Further information (spectrums etc.) on the bulbs can be seen on our products page on the web site by clicking on "high output lights". The garden ships in three boxes with a total weight of 130 pounds before lighting, 190 pounds with bulbs and ballasts. Thanks again for your inquiry, please do not hesitate to contact us again for further information. Regards, OMEGA GARDEN INC.
