Imagine the size of those black pipes that the storm-sewers are made of..
that black plastic stuff is HDPE. and it is UV hardened for at least 3
years of continuous exposure.
It is more expensive for sure than the 55 gallon drums, but some of those
pipes one can drive a truck through. The sizes go from small plumbing
grade, to sever grade up to 60 inches from most manufacturers. The minimum
length at that size is 20 feet and comes with 50 year warranty. a few of
you guys could buy one if you live not far from each other.
