-BTW: Is there an archive of this list? I would like to know
-if any of this has been suggested before, and the debates
-over it.

I'm just now digging through old mail, and don't think I ever
answered this. Yes. The list is archived, although it's not a
very user-friendly interface at this point. I've got the
messages, but haven't put them into a search-engine or
anything. That's on the list of things to do.
You can get basic help by mailing to
floating-cities-request_at_sculptors.com and using
Subject: archive help
If you're familiar with Unix-like tools such as 'grep', you'll
be able to extract some info pretty easily, but there's no
searchable indexes...yet.

1935 will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation
has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more
efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future.
